To better use your canon nb-3l battery & charger

Users of our batteries are often unsure of how to take care of battery chargers.
Our recommendations are:

1. Do not use Ni-cad canon nb-3l chargers to charge li-ion nb-3l batteries.
2. The canon nb-3l battery should be stabilized to room temperature for at least one-hour prior to charging:
   Charging a cold canon nb-3l battery (below 50 degrees Fahrenheit) may result in leakage of electrolyte and ultimately in failure of the battery.
   Charging a hot canon nb-3l battery (above 95 degrees Fahrenheit) results in reduced discharge capacity, affecting the performance of the cameras.
3. Always leave the canon nb-3l batteries in the nb-3l charger for an additional 1 - 2 hours after the green light appears on the charger
4. Do not charge the nb-3l battery if it is not almost discharged
5. Do not charge a fully charged nb-3l battery for an extra boost. This will significantly reduce the battery life and charge capacity
6. Do not leave your fully charged nb-3l battery in the nb-3l charger whilst not charging. Continuous charging will shorten the life of the battery
7. Heavily used nb-3l batteries, without periodic discharge, need maintenance service.
